The Painted Lady, 218 Ossington Ave., Toronto
When We Was Young: (http://twimfest.com/artists/when-we-was-young/) at 8 PM:
A band worth dragging your ass out early on a Wednesday night. Just think of all the times you went to see a band late at night on a week night and complained about how late shows go? Now's your chance to test your theory with a great indie-rock set from When We Was Young to start the night.
Christian D & the Hangovers: (http://twimfest.com/artists/christian-d-the-hangovers/) at 9 PM:
Perhaps nobody in Toronto bleeds rockabilly like Christian D and while its been years since we've done a show together I've been a fan and followed his career the entire time. There is not a person/band in town I'd rather open up for Chris Martin than Christian and the Hangovers.
Chris "Mojo" Martin: (http://twimfest.com/artists/chris-mojo-martin-eb-anderson/) at 10 PM:
For years one of the best known names in the rockabilly scene in the country Chris "Mojo" Martin has been travelling around the country bringing various forms of rockabilly to towns near you hard this year and it caps with one last Ontario tour before Music Nova Scotia. One of the best live performers in the country, come have a dance with us.
Faiyaz & the Wasted Chances: (http://twimfest.com/artists/faiyaz-and-the-wasted-chances/) at 11 PM:
Sometimes music just grabs you and when I heard Faiyaz & the Wasted Chances I was instantly reminded of a hybrid love child of Ty Segall and the Libertines and that my friends, is a good thing.
The Red Boy: (http://twimfest.com/artists/the-red-boy/) at 12 AM:
When its late at night on a school night you need something like the dirty garage/blues rock of The Red Boy to be the soundtrack to your questionable decisions. Game on?
